A milestone moment is approaching at Kate’s Rest Foundation, and we’re honoured to share it with our Prince Edward County community. On Thursday, July 30, we will gather to dedicate the Phyllis Huff House—a warm, accessible, smart‑technology home built on compassion, collaboration, and the belief that everyone deserves dignity and stability.
This new residence stands as a tribute to Phyllis Huff, whose lifelong compassion continues to inspire our work. Through the extraordinary generosity of her son, Lanny Huff, this home has become a reality—an enduring reminder of how one family’s commitment can ripple outward to strengthen our community.
More than a building, the Phyllis Huff House represents hope, dignity, and the power of a supportive environment. It also demonstrates how smart technology can offer practical, scalable solutions to the housing crisis—showing what’s possible when innovation meets compassion.
